Attorney Jeffrey M. Brown joined Princeton Properties as In-House Corporate Counsel in 2001. Attorney Brown graduated from the New England School of Law in Boston, MA. He is duly licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States Federal Court.
Throughout his career, Attorney Brown has concentrated his practice in various areas of real estate law including land development and permitting, negotiating purchase/sales agreements, conveyancing, institutional and private financing, landlord/tenant law, property tax abatement and condominium law. He has practiced in all phases of civil litigation in the Massachusetts Trial Court system, including the District Court, Superior Court, Housing Court, Massachusetts Land Court, the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Administration Office of Appeals & Dispute Resolution and the Housing Appeals Committee of the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development. Attorney Brown has been involved in various litigated issues related to landlord/tenant matters, environmental permitting, local development fees, affordable housing permits, and contract enforcement. Attorney Brown is a member of the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association, the Rental Housing Association and the Northeast Builders Association. He is also on the Lowell Plan Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Princeton Properties, Attorney Brown was a partner in the Law Offices of Perkins & Brown in Chelmsford, MA.
